"With TechFuture, employers from all sectors are coming together to help teachers inspire their students about technology and achieve great results with the new curriculum."
Phil Smith, CEO, Cisco UK & Ireland and Chair, the Tech Partnership
TechFuture Classroom provides curriculum resources for students based on real life projects from industry. These support computing and computer science qualifications including GCSEs and A-levels, and are provided complete with lesson plans and mark schemes for teachers.
Materials are created working closely with different employers, focusing on real life challenges. Students are presented with problems to solve using a resource bank, which includes step by step e-learning with case studies, software, briefing documents and video tutorials.
Students record their progress in log books for teachers to assess. There are also opportunities for students to submit solutions to the employers involved to win a prize or award.
TechFuture Classroom is unique in offering authentic academic learning that engages students and gives them insight into industry.
